Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Who is responsible

Timeble is responsible for the processing described in this policy. For privacy questions, requests to access, correct, or delete your information, or to contact us about this policy, email party@timeble.app.

Information we collect

Account and profile information

When you create an account, we process your email address, account identifier, display name, selected city, preferred language, reminder preference, and any profile image you choose to upload.

Activity in Timeble

We process the sets, events, DJs, and venues you follow, save, RSVP to, or check into. A venue check-in is only made after your confirmation; it is associated with the relevant venue and eligible Timeble event.

Location information

With your permission, the app accesses your approximate or precise location while it is open to show nearby venues, center the map, suggest a city, provide directions, and offer an optional venue check-in. Timeble does not use background location tracking and does not automatically check you in.

Photos, camera, and calendar

If you choose to upload or take a profile image, the app accesses that image or camera only for that action. If you choose to add a set to your calendar, the app creates the selected event in your calendar; it does not collect your calendar content.

Device, analytics, and diagnostic information

We receive limited device and app information, such as device and operating-system details, app version, app identifiers, and how features are used. Firebase Analytics records product usage to help us understand and improve the app. Crash reports and their limited context are collected only if you enable crash reporting in the app’s Settings.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we process an Expo push token, platform, and your notification preferences to send relevant reminders and Timeble updates. Local reminders may also be scheduled on your device.

How we use information

Where applicable, we process information to provide the services you request, with your consent (for example, certain permissions), and for our legitimate interests in keeping Timeble secure and improving it.

When information is shared

We use service providers that process information on our behalf to operate the app:

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business reorganization. If you open a ticketing or other third-party link, that service’s privacy policy governs what happens there.

Timeble does not sell personal information or use it for interest-based advertising.

Controls and your choices

If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region with similar rights, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Retention and security

We retain account and activity information for as long as needed to provide Timeble, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, though no internet or mobile service can be completely secure.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Children

Timeble is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Timeble, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the app change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the “Last updated” date.
